About Us
An Arbor is a light shelter to enjoy the sun or get out of the weather.
Roshiki Arbor is run privately and does activities under shelter, out in the field and/or at publicly available sites based on activity needs and what is available.
The mechanics it takes to refine our natural abilities in the fields of nature science and physical awareness, are a set of tools. The Arbor is for use like a kitchen, workshop or laboratory where controlled calm provides room to work, test ideas, practice, even rest without pressure.
Research, exercise and perspective is our guideline. For Tracking Nature the concentrations are being at home in nature, providing for loved ones and protecting privacy. For Contact Bodyskills nourishing life and preventing hazardous risk .
The Tracking Nature curriculum includes formatted lists and coursework aimed at gathering a clearer picture and widened perspectives. Learning approaches, tracking, wandering/navigation, village attitudes, crafting/DIY, and interpreting what is the language of nature are core subjects. With various tasks and excerises and suggestions for how to work through them simply, all of this is available in the bin, just like curriculum's everyplace. The Contact Bodyskills curriculum is a little bit mysterious and generally in the hands of the lead in the form of an exercise class (think, "simon says").
People already do what it takes to fulfill the responsibilities of each day. Sometimes there is little time for else. So, what are your lists for improving how you get through your activities? Already implementing your strategy to get better at what you already do? The journey of our days, weeks and years is a process we evolve through intentionally or not. Dialogue about your interests for exploration is welcome, find out if there is a skill-set here worth adding to yours.. Drop-ins, inquiring minds, or prospective practitioners all welcome. Continuing studies support and resource leads available.
