     CONTACT BODYSKILLS are mobility and physical study sessions aimed at nourishing life and preventing danger.  Derived from principal based models of notable historical import and contemporary sources.  "Lift with your legs" is a common mechanical understanding for a smart way to put in effort and protect the body. Extend this idea to other fundamental techniques widely known, easily understood and simple to put into practice.

     In current times, there is SO much information readily available related to health and wellness and basic principles can apply widely to our activities.  Practice to be ready, become un-distracted, gain calm when balance is lost, avoid bumps and scrapes, soften the risk of impact, turn what is stressful manageable, etc. etc. It is structure, function, and safety based study to enhance, strengthen gaps, raise awareness of hazards, and increase competency for all types of activities, work, use of tools, recreational, social, etc.  Sessions are not typically physically demanding or stressful, rather emphasis is concentration and correction of bad habits towards improvement.  Sessions typically have parts recognizable to other categories of exercise, sports, physical work, lifting, balancing, stretching, cardio, use of common tools, falling, working with distractions, etc. etc. Rinse and repeat. No prior experience necessary, drop-ins are welcome.  Private enrollment considered case by case.  Private consultations available.
