Contact Bodyskills

     Contact Bodyskills are mobility and physical study sessions aimed at nourishing life and preventing danger.  Derived from principal based on models of notable historical import and contemporary sources.    "Lift with your legs" is a common mechanical understanding for a smart way to put in effort and protect the body, then extend this idea to many other handfuls of ideas that are easily understood and simple to put into practice.

     In the current times, there is SO much information available today that is related to health and wellness ideas, and the principle applies widely to so many of our activities.  Practice to be ready, to not be distracted, to be calm when the balance is lost, to avoid bumps and scrapes, to be safer at the risk of impact, to turn what is stressful manageable, etc. etc. It is structure, function, and safety based study, designed to enhance, strengthen gaps, raise awareness of hazards, and increase competency for all types of activities, work, use of tools, recreational, social, etc.  Sessions are not typically physically demanding or stressful, rather the emphasis is on concentration and correction of bad habits all towards improvement.  Sessions typically have parts recognizable to participants in many other categories of exercise, sports, physical work, lifting, balancing, stretching, cardio, use of common tools, safe falling, working with distractions, etc. etc. Rinse and repeat. No prior experience necessary, drop-ins are welcome.  Private enrollment considered case by case.  Private consultations available.
